This is our tradition
Our traditional cheeses are made with heart and heritage. We count on partnerships with more than 6,000 village dairy farmers from around Switzerland who have long-standing relationships with their local cheesemakers, delivering milk twice daily. These partnerships preserve the flavors and recipes that are centuries old and are upholding a tradition that's steeped deep into the Swiss heritage.
New Look, Same Cheese
We updated the packaging on our traditional varieties from Switzerland to tell a deeper story about where your favorite cheeses come from. Find NEW Emmi Le Gruyère and Emmentaler at a store near you.
Ready for Game Day
Big celebrations call for great food that's fit to sit out for 3 hours and feed a crowd. Fondue is the perfect solution. This historically “fancy” appetizer is really just a bowl of melted cheese, so bubble some up and serve it through the whole game!
Warm Up With Raclette
Raclette is the quintessential cheese for melting and sharing. Whatever type of grill you use, the principle is the same: melt Raclette and pour on top of your favorite foods.
Dedicated to Tradition
Swiss tradition, tastes, and practices have stood for many generations. In fact, some originated centuries ago. At Emmi, we are dedicated to protecting the integrity and heritage of the cheeses we make to ensure only the finest flavors and recipes come to you and your table.
Inside Emmi —
THE KALTBACH CAVE
Our specialty line of KALTBACH cheeses are carefully crafted in the deep, cool Kaltbach Cave. Located in the Alpine Valley of Switzerland, the cave is a 22-million-year-old natural sandstone labyrinth that ages cheese unlike any other place in the world.
