Emmi wins seven awards at the world’s largest cheese show

Lucerne, 5 August 2009 – Double gold, double silver and double bronze – Emmi has returned from the International Cheese Show 2009 in Nantwich (GB) with an impressive array of medals. Emmi can be particularly proud that the jury awarded Emmi KALTBACH Le Gruyère AOC gold for the third time in a row in the "Best Swiss Cheese" category.
Emmi is enjoying all-round success: the jury awarded a total of seven honours to Emmi’s
specialities at the largest international cheese show. Once again, Emmi KALTBACH Le Gruyère AOC perfectly suited the experts’ taste. The tangy, cave-aged cheese was chosen as Switzerland's best, making it the third time in a row that Emmi's top star has received top marks!
The KALTBACH line from Emmi is currently one of the most successful and best-loved premium
cheeses on the cheeseboards of Switzerland and the world. Emmi KALTBACH Le Gruyère
AOC won the award for "Best Gruyère AOC" and even for "Best AOC Cheese" at the World
Cheese Awards 2006.
