Rosemary and Gruyere Honey Phyllo Bites
These simple, crunchy gruyere phyllo bites are a wonderful appetizer. Inspired by our favorite food creator, Food My Muse. They are created with flaky, buttery layers of phyllo dough and filled with rich gruyere cheese. Top with a bit of honey and glazed nuts for the perfect sweet and salty bite.
Ingredients
| 8 oz | package phyllo dough (4 oz for recipe) |
| 8 oz | Le Gruyere AOP cheese, shredded |
| ½ cup | melted butter |
| 2 tbsp | minced fresh rosemary |
| ¼ cup | chopped candied pecans |
| honey for topping |
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 F.
- Remove about half of the phyllo sheets from the package and reserve the remaining sheets. Brush about half the melted butter between the sheets of phyllo dough.
- Top the top phyllo sheet evenly with shredded gruyere and minced rosemary. Roll the sheet tightly into a long roll. Cut 12-16 even rounds with a very sharp knife.

- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the tops are bubbly and golden.
- Place on a serving platter and drizzle a light drizzle of honey and top the tops with chopped candied pecans.
